This opinion emphasizes that since 2014, the newly-established government investment and financing buildings, affordable housing projects, and large public buildings of 20,000 square meters have fully implemented green building standards. According to the target, by the end of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, the city will implement 10 million square meters of green buildings and complete 1 million square meters of energy-saving renovation of existing high-energy buildings.

According to the opinion, pilot demonstrations of energy-saving renovation of existing buildings will be carried out to explore transformation models and technical routes.
